Samuel Maisonet died on May 10th, 2016 in Lake Mary, Florida. He was born on April 10th, 1943 in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. He was 73 years old. Sammy, as he was often called by his friends, loved fishing, reading, and music. He was a War Veteran, he received 2 Purple Hearts for his service. He was a career Civil Servant, working nearly 30 years for the Postal Office. He was a talented musician and cook. Samuel leaves behind his Wife Piedad del Carmen Maisonet, Daughter Bridget Odaliz Wittong, Son Samuel Leonardo Maisonet, and 3 grand-daughters Rebecca, Reina, and Taylor. The family has planned a Celebration of Life Service for Wednesday, May 18, 2016 11am-1pm at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel located at 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, FL 32771.
