Sharon was born in Chicago to James and Carolyn (McIlquham) Dorsey.
She grew up in Munster, Indiana and graduated from Purdue university Lafayette in 1988, with a degree in management.
Shine loved nature, dogs, and traveling. She is survived by her brother Steven and was preceded in death by her parents and her dogs, Sampson, Midnight and Holly, all of who she loved very much. She traveled to many places in the United States and Europe that were worth exploring often with her close friend Tom Feeney. London, Paris, Rome, Vienna, Alaska, Hawaii, New Orleans, New York, San Francisco, Yosemite National Park, and the mountains of Colorado. She moved to Florida and loved the beach. She has been to many great beaches around the world, including Turks and Caicos, Hawaii, and the beaches of the Caribbean and Greece as well as the dunes national lakeshore which she grew up near while living in Indiana.
She will be deeply missed by all who love her.
