Shawn Rogers

Shawn Rogers, 44, passed away June 23, 2015 in Orlando, Florida. He was born October 29, 1970 to Mitchell Rogers and Pam Joyner. Shawn was a down to earth, easy going, great guy who enjoyed playing his guitar and writing music. Some of his happiest times were when he was playing with his grandkids, painting, drawing and cooking. He was a huge Star Wars fan and collected lots of SW memorabilia. Shawn took great care of those he loved. If you knew him or met him, he was good to you. He didn’t have to make an effort, he was just that way. He was a wonderful father to his girls, Pop to his grandkids and partner to the love of his life, Karen. He worked for the family business at Joyner Cable as their Chief Operations Manager. Shawn is survived by his girlfriend of 16 years Karen Colosi; his children Lucy Larvison, Paula Larvison, Stephanie Colosi and Dallas Gilpin; his grandkids Cameron DiBernardo, Carson Larvison and Emma Gilpin; his Step Dad and Mom Johnny and Pam Joyner; his father Mick Rogers; and his sisters Michelle Brownell and Nicole Joyner. He lives on in our hearts. A Celebration of Shawn’s Life will be Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, 5000 CR 46A, Sanford, Florida.
