Solmaria Morales

Solmaria was born on December 3, 1952, in Dorado, Puerto Rico, to Juan and Jenny Ramirez. She later moved to New York, where she graduated from Roosevelt High School in the Bronx. Throughout her career in human resources, Solmaria touched countless lives with her compassion, generosity, and willingness to help others. She had a gift for making people feel seen, valued, and cared for, and she never hesitated to go out of her way for someone in need.

For more than 50 years, Solmaria shared a beautiful and devoted marriage with her husband, Felix. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and faith. She found joy in simple pleasures—spending time at the beach, watching the sunset, and creating lasting memories with those she loved.

Above all else, Solmaria cherished her family. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and brought her immeasurable happiness. She loved them deeply and treasured every moment spent together. Solmaria was easy to love and freely shared her kindness, friendship, and unconditional support with everyone around her. To many, she was like a second mother—a steady source of comfort, wisdom, and encouragement. Her gracious spirit, generous heart, and unwavering love will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Felix Morales Sr.; her son, Felix Morales Jr.; her daughters, Sofia Cabrera (Manny Cabrera) and Jessica Dobard (Chris Dobard); and her cherished grandchildren, Lilly, Nixon, Keoni, Neve, Elias, and Alorah. She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Jenny Ramirez, and her beloved sister, Vivian Trippett.

Solmaria will be remembered for her infectious laughter, her boundless love for her family, and the strength and courage she displayed throughout her life. Though her presence will be deeply missed, the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
