I only knew Stacie for a short time but in that time she changed my life for the better . We were both in our early twenties and had our whole life ahead of us . Her unbelievably positive outlook on life changed my New York/Long Island negative view on all aspects of life and led me to live a happier and healthier existence. We spent a great deal of time together for a couple of summers while we were in college, her at Colby, me at UVA, but hours spent with her passed like minutes. I was always hoping to meet her  again to sit down and have coffee and muffins  (tea for her of course). Time passes so quickly. I am so sorry for your family to have lost such a wonderful person and I wish I had made an effuto reconnect over these many years. I am including a picture of my family as  Stacie helped make me the person  I am today.

Our family is very grateful to have known and loved Mrs. Pinney when she taught Science at ACA. She was a wonderful teacher and inspiration to our daughter.  Prayers for God's loving comfort and peace to her family.

Stacie was a great friend.  I remember the day I met her many years ago when our children went to school together.  It was not what brought us together but what brought us closer together was my our diagnosis of breast cancer.  Stacie helped me through and made me a stronger person.  She has taught me faith and courage as well.  I will always cherish my memories of her.

You are all in our thoughts & prayers.  Stacie was an amazing teacher and woman of faith and always know she will be with you forever.  "Well done my good & Faithful Servant."
