Victor passed away at his home on December 1, 2019 at age 80. He was born on February 14, 1939 in Waltham, MA to Lauren Freeman and Gertrude Victoria Lewis. Victor grew up in Worcester, MA and entered the US Air Force at the age of 17, serving 8 years which included a tour in Germany. After military service, he worked 2 years with Pratt & Whitney and then began a 30-year career with Prudential Insurance Company in Connecticut and Florida. While attending a church revival in New Hampshire, he met and later married the love of his life, Sheila Lewis. The joy of his life was his family. Victor and Sheila raised four children: Rhonda, Scott, Stephanie, and Jason and were blessed with 10 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, his sisters Sarah Brown and Dianne Stanley, his brother William Lewis, and granddaughter Merideth Christine Lyon. Victor is also survived by sisters Nancy Mastrototoro and Jean Bradley, and brother David Lewis. Victor was a dedicated servant of Jesus Christ, serving as a Sunday school teacher, choir member, Gideon, and deacon at churches in both Connecticut and Florida. Victor loved building his own computer and woodworking, making treasures for family members. He will be remembered most for his great faith in God and dedication to the Lord and his family.
