Vincenzo Tringali, also known as Jimmy, 89, of Winter Springs, Florida, passed away on September 14, 2021. He was born in Augusta, Sicily on October 4, 1931. Vincenzo served in the Italian Navy as helmsman from 1953 to 1955 prior to immigrating to the United States.
Vincenzo wed Felicia Bonanni on February 2, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan where they raised their family and resided until 1982 before relocating to Central Florida.
Vincenzo and his brothers, Dominic and Giuseppe opened Tringali’s Bakery in the Detroit area in 1958. They served the community with three locations for 63 years although Vincenzo left the company in 1982 with his move to Central Florida. Vincenzo and family opened Roma Bakery in Longwood, Florida and Angelina’s Italian Restaurant in Sanford, Florida which he operated until his retirement.
He was a member of the Italian American Social Club of Orlando, played bocce in a league at the Westmonte Recreation Center in Altamonte Springs and frequented the senior center in Winter Springs. Vincenzo loved to entertain family and friends at his home, often organizing card games. Vincenzo and Felicia loved to travel and took 22 cruises in their golden years. He loved to walk his dog, Stella.

Six Great Grandchildren:
Christopher Cannelongo, Alyssa Cannelongo, Madelyn Whitford, Liam Whitford, Logan Whitford and Jocelyn Mangiapane
Brother Giuseppe Tringali and sister, Josephine Petruzzello
Predeceased by brothers Domenic and Frank Tringali and parents Salvatore and Domenica Tringali
The services will begin at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn located at 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, Florida with Visitation on Monday, September 20 from 4-6pm and a Rosary Service at 6pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Nativity Catholic Church, 3255 N Ronald Reagan Blvd, Longwood, Florida on Tuesday, September 21 at 1pm, with a committal to follow at Oaklawn Cemetery adjoined with the funeral home.
