Woodrow Wilson Burnsed

Woodrow Wilson Burnsed (Woody), age 97, of Oviedo, Florida passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023. Woodrow was born on May 13, 1925 in Sanford, Florida to the late Esco and Vera Burnsed. Woodrow attended Stetson University but decided he preferred Military life. He was a true patriot and proudly served in three different Armed Forces; The US Navy, The US Army Aircorp and The US Air Force. In his civilian life, he enjoyed wood working. Another favorite past time he reveled in was meal times with his family, with dessert being his favorite. He is predeceased by his first wife Agnes, his two sons Wayne and Randy and grandson Christopher. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Adell, son Mark (Tina), daughter Cheryl (Tim), step son Bart (Lola) and step daughter Kozette, 12 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. A funeral service for Woodrow will be held Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, FL 32771. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Oaklawn Cemetery, 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, FL 32771.
