Yolanda Voss

Yolanda was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey on May 16,1935. After she graduated from Perth Amboy High School she worked for RCA in Avenel, NJ. She was married to Bob Voss on December 1, 1956.

She was a devoted wife and mother to her five children. She was involved in the many activities of raising her children whether it was helping at church, volunteering as troop leader, chaperoning school trips, and of course, attending her children’s countless sporting events. She saw much of America the beautiful as she traveled on business trips with her husband. Most special was the time she spent at her vacation home in the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. Yolanda enjoyed listening to a wide variety of music from her collection. She especially loved her grandchildren’s performances of their many talents. Yolanda liked sharing stories about her experiences of growing up as the youngest child in a large Italian Catholic family.

Yolanda is preceded in death by her husband Bob; her parents Antonio and Raffealla Sama; her siblings, Isabella and Concetta Narciso, Pasquale Sama, and Rose Paone.

She is survived by her children Daniel (Julie) Voss, Robert (Kate) Voss, Kathy Voss, Jacqueline Voss, Suzanne (Tim) Roehm; Anne Hirsch; grandchildren Brittany, Danielle, Jensen, Timothy, Robert; great grandchildren Eloise, Basil, Christopher, Josephine, and Melody.

Funeral arrangements will be held Sunday, September 15, 2024, 2:00PM, at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, FL 32771.
