parents Mary Carmen Manzo and William Miranda Manzo . Daddy was a natural born fighter as he was born prematurely. He was one of ten children. Alex (Daddy) went home to be with The Lord on May 15, 2021, just 10 days after his 66th birthday.
His biggest fight would come later on in life battling stage 4 cancer. My Dad had cancer, cancer did not have my Dad. Outliving the doctor's prognosis, he was a true fighter and miracle. He left a legacy of incredible strength, facing adversity head on, a beautiful and kind heart, and showing unconditional love . His strong faith in The Lord was evident to those around him and kept his spirits strong until his last moments. His sense of humor was exceptional especially over the last few years. He was joking, laughing and making us all laugh up until his final days. He was a man of his word and someone you could always count on.
Daddy has three children, one of whom he has met in heaven, the youngest Samuel Manzo. Survived by Alecia Castro and Rechanne Errico. He has two beautiful granddaughters who he adored and was delighted with, Ava and Giuliana Errico. He is survived by his 9 siblings, Connie Labrado, Tony Manzo, Sylvia Flores, Diane Narath, Vickie Contreras, William Manzo, Michael Manzo, David Manzo and Danny Manzo. Alex was the 3rd youngest of his siblings.
He was proud to work for the City of Santa Ana as an equipment operator for over 22 years. He loved classic cars and considered himself a wrench head. He loved music and loved to cruise around and listen to the sounds of the 50s, 60s, and 70s. He also loved dogs and shared the past several years with his beloved Makia who was waiting for him in heaven.
