Alfonso Castorena

On Sunday, October 11, 2020, Alfonso Castorena, loving husband and father of five children, passed away at the age of 66 to be with the Lord.

Alfonso Castorena was born on October 19, 1953 in Mexico to Juan & Josefina Castorena. He was the founder and owner of E & A Castorena Trucking Inc., which he named after his wife and himself. He had a passion for his business which was one of his dreams come true, a legacy that he left to his family.

He was married to Esperanza Castorena. They raised three sons, Joseph, Alfonso Jr., and Jesus Castorena, and two daughters Alejandra Castorena-Chavez and Maria Castorena, whom he loved endlessly along with his children-in-law: Rene Chavez, Raymond Avila, Diana Castorena, and Irais Latorre.

In his spare time he enjoyed being around his family. He was a grandfather of 11 and a great grandfather of three. The highlight of his life was seeing his grandchildren and spending time with them. He filled their hearts and life with so much love and happiness. Alfonso was a devoted family man to his wife, children and grandchildren. They were his biggest pride and joy.

He was known for his devotion to God. Alfonso was kind, generous, giving and compassionate. He left a mark in everyone’s heart who came across his path. He lived a beautiful life surrounded by loved ones.
