Alma Delia Quezada was born on October 20, 1966, in Tijuana, Mexico, to her biological parents, Juanita Hernandez and Ubaldo Hernandez. Her biological siblings include Daniel, Samuel, Ismael, Ray, Martha, Irene, and Irma. At six months of age, Alma was placed for adoption and was lovingly adopted by her parents Jessie Morones and Matias Morones. Through her adoptive family, she was also blessed with additional siblings: Eleanor, Connie, Rosie, Joe, and Peter.
Alma was raised in the Apostolic Assembly in Santa Ana, California, and later attended the Apostolic Church of Orange. It was there that she first fell deeply in love with the Lord. Her love for Jesus, combined with her passion for children, blossomed into a fulfilling ministry that spanned over 25 years in children’s ministry. She poured her heart into teaching, nurturing, and guiding young lives, leaving a lasting spiritual impact on countless families.
In addition to ministry, Alma enjoyed selling candles and participating in business opportunities. She took pride in everything she did, always striving to give her best and to shine with excellence in all areas of her life.
Alma spent most of her life in Orange County, California. After achieving her U.S. citizenship, she embraced life in Southern California with gratitude and joy. At the young age of 16, Alma met the love of her life, Victor Quezada. Their bond endured, and they were married five years after the birth of their first child, Matthew. Thirteen years later, Alma was blessed with a daughter, Hannah, completing the family she cherished so deeply.
Alma leaves behind a story that can only be fully told in eternity. She leaves a legacy that is unbroken and unshakable, forever knitted into the hearts of her family. Her life stands as a testimony worthy of sharing—one rich with faith, love, perseverance, and wisdom.
Today, we honor her life and celebrate her triumphant entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven.
We love you, Mom.
