Amy Lowry Parker

Amy Rosalie Mericle Parker of Garden Grove, California, passed away June 18th, 2026 at the age of 99. Amy was born in Summers County in West Virginia on April 18th, 1927. Amy received a Business Degree from Mt. State College, WV.

Amy worked in Administrative Management for about 30 years and retired from Rockwell International. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and had a passion for taking care of her garden.

Amy is preceded in death by her Husband Earl Parker, Siblings: Elva Wood, Elmer Howry, Velma Streusberry, Sally Thompson, Thomas Lowry, Henry Lowry, Amos Lowry, Hattie Harvey, Pearl Pooston, Mary Wamsky, Vernon Lowry and Grandchild Billy Meyer.

She is survived by her children; James Keith Mericle (Mimi) and Kathi Leanne Mericle. Her grandchildren; Jason Mericle (Erika), Ryan Mericle (Melissa), Crystal Amrhein (Chris), Misty Meyer, Joshua Mericle (Courtney), Sawn Mericle (Eryn), Jesse Mericle (Stacy), as well as 4 Great-Grandchildren.
