Barry Adams, husband of former mayor Cynthia Adams, has died. He was 62. Adams, who was instrumental in managing the campaign for cityhood, survived a double lung transplant in 2004 but lost his battle with lung cancer on Sept. 7 in Las Vegas. Family, friends and community members can celebrate his life at noon Friday at Fairhaven Memorial Park in Santa Ana.
