Bernell “Bernie” Lowe, 84, passed away on November 29, 2023, due to complications from Parkinson’s Disease. He worked in aerospace for 30 years and then, during his retirement, weekly helped to clean the church building where he and his wife attended. Bernie became a Christian when he accepted the Lord into his heart and life as a young boy. His favorite Bible verse was: “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:3). He taught children’s church for years and this verse was repeated each week by Bernie and the children. Bernie loved to study and read his Bible, and he finished reading through the entire Bible a little before his death. Bernie’s family celebrates his homegoing to heaven and the fact that he is healed now, remembers Bernie’s Godly character, and leans on the Lord for His help and strength during this time of temporary separation. A private memorial service for the immediate family was held in January 2024.
