Carol Lee Amling was called to God unexpectedly on Feb 7, 2016. Carol was born on April 12th 1940 in Orange CA. She is survived by Norman her husband of 28 years and her children Karen Dueker, Mike Bathke , Rob Bathke and their spouses, along with her 6 step children, 21 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Carol was born and raised in Orange. She attended St. John’s Lutheran School and Orange High School and lived on an avocado ranch near La Veta and Prospect growing up. She was a life-long member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and served as a teacher at the preschool for 8 years. Her love for her family cannot be summed up in this small space. She touched so many people during her life and was an amazing person. She will be missed by all.
