Celia was born December 2,1941 in Santa Ana, California to Oswald and Clela Jones. She was the 3rd of 5 children. Celia was married to R.C. Burch for 68+ years. They had 5 children. Celia worked for Santa Ana Unified School district for over 40 years.
Celia dedicated her life to Christ at an early age at Johnson Chapel AME church in Santa Ana. She was active in the choir, taught Sunday School and active on many boards. She was also an active member at Calvary Chapel, Santa Ana, up until when she was ill, she taught Sunday School and participated in organizations.
Celia enjoyed spending time with family, friends and two dogs Cuddles and Patches. Celia also enjoyed visits to the OC Fair, Knotts Berry Farm where she had season tickets and attending LA Laker games.
Celia is proceeded in death by her husband, R.C. Burch, parents Oswald and Clela Jones and her siblings Dorothy (Dot) Clark, Patricia (Patsy) Jones, Stella (Marie) Jones, Larry Jones and her son Anthony Burch.
Celia leaves behind her children Dwain Burch, Lionel Burch, Andrea Douglas, Adrienne Burch all raised in Santa Ana, California. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Isaac Gibbons, Dwain Burch, Jr., Joseph Douglas, Daniel Douglas, David Douglas, Celia Douglas, Trevor Duenas, Denzel Duenas, Mia Burch, Chantae Burch and great grand child Jaden Michael Douglas.
Celia is loved by all and will be missed by many.

A Funeral Service will take place at Fairhaven Memorial Park Mortuary, 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92705, US, on August 29, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
A Committal Service will be held at Fairhaven Memorial Park, 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92705, US, on August 29, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
