David William Melendrez (aka) "Deebs", "Dave Waa", "Hooty", beloved son, brother, spouse, father and grandfather passed away on January 20, 2025 in Fountain Valley, California with family by his side.
He is survived by his spouse, Sophia Zavala, his son, Ethan Melendrez, and his daughters, Nicole Melendrez-Aguilar (Marvin Aguilar), Cienna Melendrez, Kaylah Melendrez and his granddaughter Keelannah Aguilar. He also leaves behind his mother Dorrine (Tom) Couts, brother Jeff (Susan) Melendrez and his sisters, Veronica Melendrez-Silva and Michelle (Andy) Morales.
David will be remembered for his love for family. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A graveside service will be held at Fairhaven Memorial Park & Mortuary, located at 1702 Fairhaven Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92705, United States. The service is scheduled for February 12, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
