Dennis Edward Peoples

Dennis Edward Peoples, 69, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and friend, passed away on March 29, 2017 at Kindred Hospital in Santa Ana, CA due to complications related to cancer. Dennis was born July 14, 1947 in Sewickly, Pennsylvania to Janes and Frances Peoples. He grew up in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania with his three brothers and sister, and graduated from Hopewell High School in 1965. After high school, he was employed at J & L Steel. Dennis met his wife Barbara in the First Grade. He attended school with her through high school, and married her in 1969. They were happily married for 47 years. Dennis and Barbara moved to Southern California in 1971 and he worked in the plastics industry. He worked for ARCO, Armin Plastics and TYCO, climbing to the position of Vice President of Sales before spending his later years as a successful independent sales representative. Dennis enjoyed playing golf, spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren, and his morning trip to Starbucks for his signature “Double Tall Mocha”. Dennis is survived by his wife Barbara, his children Darryn and Jason, grandchildren Olivia and Owen, and brother Bob and Ronnie. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents James and Frances, his sister Judy and his brother Tim. A Funeral Service will be held at Fairhaven Memorial Park, 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92705, on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 9:30am. A reception will follow at Rancho San Joaquin Golf Course, where Dennis spent a lot of time and was known as “The Monarch”. The clubhouse is located at 1 Ethel Coplen Way, Irvine, CA 92612.
