Dorothy was my Aunt, my dads sister and the memories are endless. She would come to the Ranch in Sweet, Idaho every year when I was growing up and I loved it we would have such a wonderful time. Dorothy, my mom and I would go to the sheepdog trials all over the USA that Derek (my son) competed in, she definitely was a great cheerleader. Dorothy was such a classy lady with such integrity, so many fun and wonderful memories! I will miss my Aunt Dorothy, she has touched my life in so many ways.

I'm so fortunate to have had Dorothy in my life for several years because I learned so much from her. She was the MOST confident woman I have ever been around and she made you feel confident at the same time. I remember organizing a surprise birthday party for her years ago, unfortunately someone slipped and told her about the party at the last minute but she could have received an Oscar for her performance "acting surprised." Chad spoke about her Christmases, her home was gorgeous, classy and so inviting just like Dorothy herself. I'm thankful to have known her.

I never lived close to grandma but always wrote letters, sent photos and called often.
I think my love of art was a gift from her and probably my sassy nature as well.
We reminisced about her childhood and a shared love of horses, she loved telling me stories about pat.
I wish we had a little longer ......I would have liked to have heard a couple more young grandma Dorothy adventures....
Love you grandma
You'll be greatly missed

My fondest memories are of Christmas at her house. She would decorate the house so festive, you would feel like you were in Santa's house. Santa even made personal appearances there every year. The food was delectable, The tree was like a fairy tale christmas tree. The gift wrapping would complement everything. The whole house looked like a Rockwell painting. I got a lot of my Christmas cheer from her. Dorthy was an amazing person. She made my whole life magical. She made everyone's life magical. Just by the way she would treat you, or just talk to you. She would somehow know if something was wrong. And rush to your aid to help or be moral support. The love and compassion and support. Is what I will miss the most about her. I love you, mam maw. Till we meet again.

Love, Chad Aldred

My dear Dorothy,

I think of all the good times we had throughout the years . One consolation is that you are next to your beloved Angelo. I will miss you very much.

Much love,
Your cousin Flora.

Dorothy was such a smart, active interesting lady with many talents, from painting to flower arranging to flying in her youth. She painted me the most lovely painting of a tree that has a special place in my home. I am grateful for her companionship to my mom and so very proud of my mom, who was such a good friend to Dorothy, caring for her so beautifully over the past couple of years. Dorothy will be missed. She will remain in the hearts of many. Peace and love to you, Dorothy.

My husband, Joe and Leslie are cousins. Leslie is like a sister to me. It was lovely to know that Leslie was invited to share a home with Dorothy many years ago. They were great companions for one another. I am so glad I finally got to meet Dorothy after hearing about her through Leslie over the years. Joe and I were on a west coast trip last year and were invited for a lovely meal at Dorothy's house. She shared some of her stories of flying planes in California as a young woman and the many travels she experienced through her fascinating life. I am sad to hear of her passing but delighted that I had the chance to meet and spend some time with her. I know she will be greatly missed by many, none more then Leslie who was at her side for over 17 years. Rest in peace, Dorothy.

Dorothy was such a gift in my life for so many years! The memories are too
numerous to count...they remain in my heart. My heartfelt sympathy to
Jude, Greg, and the family...and of course to Leslie who took such good care of Dorothy as her health declined. God bless all of you. RIP dear friend....I
know you and Nance are adding spice to the heavens!😇😇🙏

Although I never personally met Dorothy, I feel as if I knew her. Dorothy was so generous to allow me and several others to stay at her home while she was on one of her many fantastic vacations. We are all life-long friends of Leslie, Dorothy’s dear friend and care-giver. Dorothy was an incredibly generous and kind person who lived a life that we all hope to live. She had many friends and those who knew her and loved her will miss her gentle smile and beautiful face.
