our Lord and Savior on January 8, 2021 at the age of 66. Elaine was born to Walter and Angelina
Maes on September 30, 1954 in Monte Vista, Colorado.
At an early age, Elaine and her family left Colorado and moved to California where they
resided in Orange County. Elaine graduated from Saddleback High School, got married and had
three children. Elaine is survived by her sons Isaac and Frank and her daughter Dianna. She
was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Angelina and her young sister, Carol Mae
as well as many other loved ones who went home to Heaven before her. We know she was
welcomed with open arms as her journey into her eternal life began.
Elaine began her career in the Aerospace field in 1974 at Hughes Aircraft in Newport Beach,
California where she worked for over 20 years. She balanced her career and her family life
with stride all the while making sure to enjoy life by dancing, singing and being a faithful
christian. When Elaine's position ended at Hughes Aircraft, she furthered her education at DeVry
Institute where she graduated with honors and was repeatedly on the Dean's list. Elaine was
exceptionally smart. She always seemed to figure out a solution to any problem. Elaine's life was
even more blessed when her grandchildren were born.
She is survived by Joshua, Robert, Merisa, Anthony, Annalyse, Marina and her pride and joy, her great-granddaughter Olivia Mae. Elaine was very excited to meet her new great-grandchild who will be born this July. We know in our hearts she will be watching over all of us from the Heavens above. Elaine also leaves behind her furry grand doggies Daisy and Miley whom she absolutely loved and adored. Elaine will be missed by many.
Her family was abundant and love was always near her. She had a beautiful family who
loved and admired her and turned to her for advice and direction. Elaine had many wonderful
friends, long time friends and friends she met more recently. Elaine was fun to be around and
brought her charm and laughter to many. The bright light in her eyes and her beautiful character
will be missed dearly.
