On the morning of March 23, 2019, Ellyn passed away in Anaheim Hills, CA, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 20th, 1932, in Buffalo, New York to Sophie and Stanislaus Michalski.
Ellyn was not only deeply loved by her family, but also by the children and families who came to her home during the many years of daycare where she provided love and care.
We will cherish the memories of many wonderful celebrations that brought the family together for Thanksgiving and Christmas and for occasions to celebrate the accomplishments of children and grandchildren.
She was a devoted Angels fan and made friends at the stadium throughout the years as a season ticket holder. There was no other team for her!
Ellyn loved her Catholic faith and found strength in it most especially during challenging times. This included the loss of two daughters, Dianne Virginia and Susan Benton who preceded her to heaven. We know they were the first to greet her when she arrived to be with God.
She will be missed and remembered each day by her daughters Elaine Robbins (Eric) of Cody, Wyoming, Micki Wood (Brent) of Fullerton, CA, grandchildren, Bryan, Elizabeth, Michael, Christina, and Mark. Ellyn was also blessed with great grandchildren. Mirayah, Ava, Joshua, and Colette will miss her special treats and daily hugs and kisses.
Her sister, Stelle, 97, and her brother Edward, 89 along with many nieces and nephews will miss her deeply as well.
The Mass of the Resurrection will be on May 20th, 2019, at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church in Anaheim Hills.
