

Elsie Fae (nee Greenwood), aged 88, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026, in Orange, California. Born on December 18, 1937, in South Bend, Indiana, Elsie lived a full and vibrant life dedicated to her family, friends, and passions.
Elsie was the beloved wife of John Everett for 68 years and a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, John, and her daughters Leslie Everett Concilla (husband Joe Concilla) and Andrea Everett Hollabaugh, her cherished grandchildren Jacqueline Concilla, Mark Concilla (wife Olivia), Caroline Concilla, Ryan Hollabaugh, and Ally Hollabaugh and by her sister Suzanne McDonald. She was predeceased by her son Scott Greenwood Everett, her parents Ruth Arlene Greenwood and Ernest Fuller Greenwood, and her sisters Pat Greenwood Stein, Sara Greenwood Ellison, and Debbie Greenwood Carnes.
Elsie’s life was marked by her boundless energy and love for those around her. She had a remarkable ability to connect with people of all ages and was deeply involved in various organizations throughout her life. Her warmth and enthusiasm for making new friends left an indelible mark on everyone she met.
A talented gardener with a particular fondness for roses, Elsie found joy in nurturing beauty from the earth. Her love of cooking and baking brought comfort to many gatherings with family and friends. She also enjoyed playing bridge, a pastime that combined her sharp mind with her love of socializing.
Travel was another passion that brought Elsie immense happiness. Alongside John, she embarked on numerous adventures – sometimes with close friends and other times forging new friendships along the way. These journeys were a testament to her adventurous spirit and zest for life.
Above all else, Elsie treasured her family. She took great pride in staying connected with her grandchildren as they grew into adulthood, always offering encouragement and support. Her dedication to maintaining these bonds reflected the deep love she held for those closest to her.
Elsie’s memory will be cherished by all who know her. May the legacy of her kindness, energy, and love bring comfort to those she leaves behind. A Memorial Service will be held on April 25, 2026 from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM at Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 13922 Prospect Ave. We will have a reception following the service for all.
