Erin Leah Laguna

The daughter of David and Denise (Zeigler) Laguna, Erin was born in Santa Ana, CA on October 17th, 1975.

Erin grew up in Chula Vista, CA alongside her younger siblings. She attended Bonita Vista High School and went on to complete her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration at the University of Phoenix.

Erin was a proud mother to Elizabeth Reyes. Elizabeth was Erin’s only child and was Erin’s pride and joy.

Erin was also a big animal lover. She had two special dogs in her life, Chloe and Sandy whom she loved beyond measure.

Although Erin mostly kept to herself and stayed busy with her work, she loved the holidays because holidays meant family gatherings. There was nothing Erin loved more than spending time with her many cousins, aunts, and uncles, sharing stories from her childhood. These were the times where you could see Erin’s beautiful smile and hear her infectious laugh echo through each room in the house.

Erin is survived by her daughter Elizabeth; her parents David and Denise; brother Gregory; sister Elena; as well as her nieces Elisa, Ariana, Madison, Micaela, Penelope and nephew Manuel.

When you think about Erin, please celebrate the good memories you have of your time with her. Remember that life is very fragile and often short and should be lived to the fullest.
