We met at Alex’s funeral, and our friendship would blossom.

From memories on our trips to you pouring wine at my wine tasting party.
(Looking spiffy) or just getting together for dinner and nice conversation.

Greg is one of the most genuine humans I know. With his infectious smile and positive spirit he would always brighten up my day.

One of our last conversations:
“Did you see Da Bears?! They’re going to the Super Bowl and the Cowboys are going to the toilet bowl.”

Greg
It’s going to be hard watching your team play or planning a trip without you or simply moving forward.
I can’t express the pain I’m feeling, only that I am shaken to the core.

I love you to the moon, Greggers

Rest Peacefully. - Jeanette

Sorry to hear about the passing of my dear cousin Greg. Most of my memories of Greg & the Galvan clan were during the weekend gatherings at grandpa Jesus' and grandma Lola's house.

"Eternal rest, grant unto him O Lord
and let perpetual light shine upon him.

May he rest in peace. Amen"

I struggled on what to say, the only thing I can think of is to say how blessed I am to know ALL of the Galvan family thanks to my brother Alex who I miss dearly along with Mary and now Greg. I am truly blessed to have my extended Mom, Dad, brothers and sisters in my family. Greg you had such a great personality and kindness and you passed it on to your kids. You will truly be missed but definitely never forgotten. Mary, Alex and Greg you 3 will never ever ever be forgotten and I know you'll be watching over all of us. To anyone reading this obviously you know how life is so freakin short. Cherish the ones you love and please dont take life for granted.

I had the privilege of meeting this wonderful gentleman in middle school. Not only was he a nice person to have lunch with, he had a sense of humor that I enjoyed and appreciate we laughed our asses off and we got in trouble in class for it but it was worth it. Greg made me snort many times, I swear I thought we were related or maybe I wish we were. Although many years have passed and we finally reconnected on facebook; it was wonderful to see what a great man he turned out to be. I wish we had more time, but I thank God for the time and laughs we did share.

From the first time Alex introduced me to his family back in 96, the whole Galvan family took me in as a brother not as a friend. I was devastated when Alex left us and now even more hurt that you're gone. Weve shared many laughs over the years. The fact that you are with Alex and Mary now helps ease the pain brother. I know you were proud of your kids as we talked about our families. You and Alex have the best seat in the house for the Raiders Bears game.. May God bless your soul, til we meet again 💔

I am so sorry to hear about Greg's passing. I first met Greg at Washington elementary school. Greg was a good friend then and he never changed. Broke my heart to hear of his passing.. My memory of Greg was at elementary school. Even though he was a Bears fan.. when we played football at school, we hand him the football and he had the moves.. that's when he got stuck with the nickname "Little Dorsett" cause he had the football running back moves. Hey little Dorsett, you always been my friend and brother.. Rest in peace and show everyone in heaven your "Little Dorsett" moves..
