Gumaro B. Muniz, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away on Monday, October, 10, after a battle with lung cancer. Gumaro was born on October 11, 1929 in Cerritos, S.L.P, Mexico and had been a resident of Santa Ana since 1968. Gumaro is survived by his wife, Teresa Muniz; children, Estella Muniz, Angel Muniz, Gracie Muniz, Jose L. Muniz, and Teresa Burnett; grandchildren, Alejandro, Janet, Yousaf, and Abraham; sister, Maria Muniz; in-laws Aurora Contreras, Norma Quintero, Steve Burnett. Rosary service will be on Friday, October 14, from 5:00 - 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel (MacDougall), 1610 E. 1st Street, Santa Ana. He will be laid to rest in Cerritos, Mexico. He will be missed by all.
