Harriett Brianna Nicole Powell

Harriett Brianna Nicole Powell of Santa Ana, California passed away on October 28, 2021. She was born in Santa Ana, California on December 28th, 1992. Harriett graduated from middle college in the gifted program at Santa Ana College and received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Purdue Global University. She moved to Georgia where she married her husband Brandon Powell on October 12th, 2020.

Harriett loved to serve her local community at various homeless shelters and rescue missions. She enjoyed doing work in online marketing and owned a variety of online businesses. She had a dream of opening a community center for children and struggling parents. Harriett also had a passion for making music, exercising, and studying her Bible. On April 22, 2021, she surrendered her life to Christ and began her walk with God until He called her home. She was baptized as an infant at Trinity Lutheran Church and re-baptized at her grandmother’s house on October 2nd while she was in hospice care.

She was preceded in death by her great grandmother Velma, and her grandfather William R. Smith. She was survived in her beloved family by her husband, Brandon Powell; her mother and brother, Denise and Brandon Smith; her grandmother, Harriett Wilkinson; her aunt Pam, uncle Mark, Tim, and William “June” D. She was also survived by her cousins Zenobia, Jared, Trumaine, Timothy, Malachi, Alexis, Tyler, Jason, Owen, Alexandra, and Arielle.
