James T Casillas

James T. Casillas of Costa Mesa, CA, passed away Friday, the 11th of December. He was 68 years old. Jimmy was born on March 16,1952 in Costa Mesa, CA to Fernando and Catalina Casillas. The youngest of 14 children, Jimmy was an avid golfer, enjoyed watching sports, spending time with family and friends, and striking up a conversation with anyone that crossed his path. He attended Costa Mesa High School where he played basketball and golf. Jimmy spent over 50 years in the automotive sales and service industry. His infectious smile and laugh always brightened the day of those around him, especially his nieces and nephews. If you ask them, each one would say they were Uncle Jimmy’s favorite. Jimmy raised his two sons Brandon and Kyle, and was grandfather to three beautiful girls Anuhea, Aulani, and Kaikilani. Over the years, Jimmy’s positive impact on others; whether on the golf course, at work, socializing with loved ones, or at his son's sporting events will be remembered by those lucky enough to know him.

Jimmy is survived by his sons Brandon and Kyle; daughter-in-laws Allison and Kamaile; three grandchildren Anuhea, Aulani, and Kaikilani; his partner Becka and her daughters Evynn and Karly; as well as his siblings Robert, Tony, David, Eddie, Virginia, Esther, and Rose.
