Mom you raised us to be independent and strong. We all held onto your teachings and very grateful for your love and compassion for your children. When I was 4 this wonderful lady introduced me to my lord and savior by taking me to primary. I knew then that I was meant to be there. I have know Miss Geri as I called her 50 years.
I know families are forever and she is with her savior which brings me comfort.
Thanks for the cookies growing up every time I enjoy a sugar cookie I will remember you and all the ways you touched my life.

Oh, how I love Jerri and miss her so much! Jerri was/is a dear friend. Several years ago, we met by church assignment but immediately we became fast friends. Although decades apart in age, we enjoyed our visits at each other's homes and over lunch. We spent hours reminiscing about her childhood and all the schools she attended because of her family's many moves. She loved growing up in Ogden and was so thrilled when Billy took her & Wayne on a trip in his RV to visit the places of her childhood. Losing her parents and brother were very difficult for her. I'm so happy that she is with them again and pray that Wayne can find peace in knowing that one day he will be reunited with them as well. Jerri loved working with the Girl Scouts and adored her family. She always spoke so highly of her children and grandchildren and enjoyed the family gatherings. I love that she is a straight-shooter and always told things like she saw them. She could tell a good story and we had many laughs about adventures on Wayne's boat and motorcycle. How I miss our phone calls and in-person conversations!
Dear friend, set a place for me in heaven and we'll pick up where we left off when I get there! I love you!

Our Parents and families spent lots of time together when we were younger. We had church and school activities that kept us connected after they split our ward. Both Brother and Sister Ford always made me feel welcomed in their home.  Facebook has brought many of us full circle and into new adult friendships.  I know both my folks were there to welcome her home.  I’m kinda jealous thinking about my mom giving her one of her famous Ruthie Bear 🐻 Hugs!  Thank you Sister Ford for all the memories.

I lost my mom when I was 15. Since  that day I have held the title “Mom” in high regard. I never met anyone deserving of that title until Jerri. I married her beautiful daughter Toni and was welcomed into the family. Jerri is very loving and understanding and  loved me in lieu of my many short comings (I think, lol). She held me when I was hurting after my dad passed, would set me straight when needed and treated me as an equal in the family. I never doubted her love for me and will miss her lovely semi sarcastic smile, her loving arms and her occasional one liners. I’m so glad she and my mom are meeting this day and I’m sure my mom is thanking Jerri and has no issues with this statement. I will miss you MOM #2. Enjoy your reunion and we’ll see you on the other side.
