Preferring the beautiful weather of sunny California to the long winters of Syracuse, Jerry and his wife Myrrha, moved in 1986 and it is here where they settled and raised their family of three: son Jeremy (26), daughters Emily (22), and Lindsey (20). Born to deaf parents, Jerry had a long career as a professional sign language interpreter and was associated with OC Deaf/GLAD since 1987.
Jerry passed peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. In addition to his wife and children, he is also survived by his sister Brenda and nephew Sean.
