Born to Robert and Rosa Arellano on July 18th 1969 in Santa Ana, California. The middle child between two sisters, she grew up idolizing Madonna, Joan Jett and Paula Abdul. Joan’s greatest joy in life was being a mother to her sons. She loved art, music, food and dancing like nobody was watching. Although her journey through life was not easy she never let her struggles dim her light. She wasn’t afraid to try new things, whether it was crocheting, a new recipe or playing the guitar.
In 2009 Joan began attending the Hope Center, she loved the program and everyone there, it became an important part of her life. Later as her parents grew older she became their main caretaker, devoting a lot of time to returning the love they gave her. Joan loved all of her family so much and cherished spending time all together. Her light continues on in those she leaves behind.
Joan is survived by her two sons her oldest Johnny and his wife Angie and her youngest Kevin. Her grandkids JZ and Juliet. By her parents Robert and Rosa Arellano. By her sisters Angela, Darlene and Lote. And by her nieces Merissa and Alyssa. As well as countless friends and family members who will miss her deeply.
