Jose Burgos

Jose Burgos, 93, of Santa Ana, California, passed away on March 14, 2026. Born July 17, 1932, Jose was faithful, beloved, hard-working, and kind-hearted, and he will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude.

Jose retired honorably from the United States Marine Corps as a Master Gunnery Sergeant, E-9, a reflection of a life marked by dedication, discipline, and steadfast service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Burgos. He is survived by his children, Linda Burgos, Jeffrey Burgos, and Sonia Rolston; his grandchildren, Matthew Burgos, Mikayla Burgos, Ryan Rolston, Jason Rolston, Erick Rolston, and Ashley Solis; and his great-grandchildren, Sienna Rolston, Kalena Rolston, Charlotte Rolston, Ella Rolston, Juliette Rolston, Briley Rolston, Ryker Rolston, Maverick Rolston, Aubrey Solis, and Alana Solis. He is also survived by a plethora of nieces and nephews in his birthplace, Puerto Rico, and throughout the United States, as he came from a family of 12 siblings. He was known lovingly by them as Tío Pepín.

Visitation will be held at Fairhaven Memorial Park Mortuary, 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92705, on April 6, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 566 S Glassell St, Orange, CA 92866, on April 7, 2026, at 10:00 am with burial to follow at Fairhaven Memorial Park.
