Juana Elvira Viera, age 68, of Santa Ana was born on October 14th, 1952 in El Salvador. She passed away on December 14th, 2020. She was born to Juana Blanco and Ricardo Espinal. As the couple’s youngest child, she brought so much joy to her parents. At the age of 6 she lost her mother due to an illness. Having lost her mother at such a young age, made her a loving, caring, and nurturing mother to her own daughters. She was the 2nd oldest to her 6 siblings and played a very motherly role to all her younger siblings; she was very protective and a caregiver to them. As a young woman living in El Salvador, she aspired to do great things, and she moved to the city with big dreams and hopes to establish there. Becoming a mother at a young age brought new challenges to her life which, she overcame by committing to working hard to support her daughters; she always thought that a mother’s love was like no other; it was a heartfelt feeling as big as the sky and wide as the ocean encompassed into one beating heart. As a mother, she was devoted, nurturing and protecting like a mama bear to her three daughters Vilma, Claudia and Sandra. Due to the Civil war, she decided to leave her country; she took her three daughters and moved to the United States to provide a better life for her daughters. She became very strong and courageous and had an inner fight within her like no other; she took care of her family and provided for them making sure all their needs were taken care of. As a wife, she was loving, supportive, kind, and she was always in unison with her husband. She loved him and took care of her husband in life. As a grandmother, she adored her two grandchildren Richard and Renato. She was fun, loving, and very nurturing to her grandchildren. As a human being, she was a very generous person; her heart was immensely big and cared about all her loving friends, relatives and anybody in need. She touched many lives, and she will be greatly missed. She had the most beautiful and charming smile that made anyone who knew her feel loved. On December 14th, 2020 she gained her wings and went to live with God. Juana Elvira Viera leaves behind a husband with a broken heart, 3 daughters without a best friend, and 2 grandchildren without their Tita. Her family loved her in life and will always love her. We won an angel in heaven. It saddens us to see her go, But she is no longer suffering; she is free and resting in paradise with our heavenly God.
“And can it be that in a world so full and busy the loss of one creature makes a void so wide and deep that nothing, but the width and depth of eternity can fill it up” - Charles Dickens
