Our beloved wife and mother, Kitty Marsh Tahtinen, born in Champaign–Urbana, IL on Sept. 16, 1945, went home to the Lord on Oct. 31, 2018. Kitty, a resident of Santa Ana, was a graduate of Fullerton Union High School and earned a certificate in American Sign Language from Santa Ana College. She worked as a legislative aide for the California State Assembly for seven years.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Tahtinen; daughter and son-in-law, Laurie Hittle and Joe Piechowski; sons, Nathan Hittle and Jason Carrig; son and daughter-in-law, Ryan Matheny and Veronica Matheny; and brother, Tim Marsh.
A viewing will be held Tues., Nov. 6th from 5-9 pm at Fairhaven Memorial Park, Santa Ana. A memorial service will be held Wed., Nov. 7th, 11:00 am at Orange Coast Community Church, Orange. Burial will follow at 1:30 pm at Santa Ana Cemetery.
