Larry Eugene Baskins

Larry is preceded in death by his mother and father, Eugene and Virginia Baskins, his beloved wife, Patricia, and his son David. He is survived by his children Lorraine and Robert, his sisters Audrey and Marrietta, his grandchildren Shawn, Melissa, Stephanie and Rebecca, and his great grandchildren, Clash, Kaiah, Marliana, Rush, and baby Peterson.

Larry was born on July 15th, 1939 to Bud and Virginia Baskins in Orange, CA. Larry married Pat, his high school sweetheart, right out of high school. They moved to Huntington Beach, CA in 1964 where they raised their three children. They had a good life.

Larry could fix anything. Big machines, cars, appliances, plumbing, electrical - anything. He loved photography and knew the history of just about anything. He was a fountain of knowlegde.

Larry was fortunate to have had friendships that have lasted a lifetime and he cherished them as he cherished his family. He was always willing to help others. His home was a refuge for several family members over the years. He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by us all. Well done Larry.

A visitation for Larry will be held Monday, July 24, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Fairhaven Memorial Park Mortuary, 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92705. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Fairhaven Memorial Park Mortuary.
