Lois May Valentine

After graduating from Trenton High School in New Jersey she went on to marry

George G Valentine in 1952. They were married 60 years prior to the passing of George. Together they raised a family of 4 children living in New Jersey, Maryland, Utah, and finally California.

Through those years Lois was very active in her children’s activities including Girl Scouts and Little League Base Ball. She loved to sew and had very advanced seamstress skills. Lois made everything from clothing, drapes, and very detailed quilts. She was a homemaker with many talents such cooking, canning, crafts, and extraordinary gardener. Lois also provided child care to many of her grand children where she shared her talents and love of everything she did.

Lois is survived by children, Sharon Shipley and husband John, George Valentine Jr. and wife Tammy, and Greg Valentine and wife Susan. She is pre deceased in death by her daughter Robin Hilsabeck survived by husband Paul.

Lois’s nick name to her grand children was Moo. She is survived by 13 grand children and 16 great grand children.
