Margaret Shearin passed away on May 10th, 2020, at the age of 85, from gall bladder cancer. Margaret was the beloved wife of the late George Shearin. Survivors include her children; Eileen (David), Alan (Barbara) and Robert. She is also survived by four grandchildren, a great-grandson, an older brother, and her nieces and nephews.
Margaret was born to Jane and Christie Smith in Govan, Glasgow, Scotland on April 17th, 1935. George and Margaret were married in Glasgow in 1955. In 1961 they relocated to Newtongrange, a cross country distance of 45 miles. July 1970 was a slightly bigger move when the Shearins immigrated to the United States, settling in Orange, California. Orange remained Margaret's home, where she had many good neighbors and friends. For many years Margaret worked as an independent housekeeper. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
Margaret's ashes will be interred with George's in an outdoor ceremony at Fairhaven Memorial Park, 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana CA 92705 on Monday, August 17th, at 1:00pm.
