Mark entered our lives at the age of 33, bravely stepping into the challenge of raising three spirited daughters—ages 15, 11, and 8 at the time. With an open heart and steady direction, he embraced both the joy and responsibility of family while also taking on a struggling motorcycle shop. Through perseverance, grit, and love for his craft, he brought the shop out of debt and built Z Racing into a cornerstone of the community for more than 30 years.
From the age of 13, Mark lived and breathed motorcycles—an outstanding racer himself, he poured his passion and knowledge into helping others find the same joy. Through Z Racing, he fostered countless future racers, creating a legacy that will ride on for generations.
At home, Mark wove a loving thread through his family. He shared his love of motorcycles not only in the shop, but also in the Southern California deserts—teaching his daughters and, later, all his grandchildren how to ride. He embraced life’s changes with grace, welcoming his first grandchild just a few years into his fatherhood, and cherishing every new chapter that followed.
Mark’s story is one of love, resilience, and passion—a man who kept his heart open, his family close, and his spirit on two wheels. He’s completed his final race and won his wings to heaven.
