Marlene was born in South Dakota on June 2, 1932. She was married to Mr. Orval Charles Gruett on June 2, 1948. Marlene was a homemaker and a mother of twelve children.
Marlene is survived by her children: Carl Gruett, Estell Hartman, Gary Gruett, Aaron Gruett, Debra Dorman, Craig Gruett, Jeff Gruett, Julie Gruett, Karen Oviedo, and her golden child, Tammy Swalley. She is also survived by her 23 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, as well as her brother Dale Goehring.
A funeral service will be held at Fairhaven Memorial Park Mortuary, located at 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92705, on March 4, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Following the funeral service, a committal service will take place at Fairhaven Memorial, 1702 Fairhaven Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92705, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
