Mary Elizabeth Saroli of Yorba Linda, California peacefully went to be with the Lord surrounded by her loved ones on the morning of October 4, 2020. Mary was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 14, 1924, the daughter of the late Camillo and Maria Carlini of Italy.
Mary was united in marriage to Armando Saroli and they would have celebrated 76 amazing years of marriage this October 21, 2020. Mary was a beautiful, loving, generous, giving, kindhearted, and graceful woman. She was a True Matriarch. Mary was a devoted and loving wife to the late Armando Saroli, also referred to as her “Hon”. She was the beloved mother of Crescienzo (Patricia) Saroli, Sharon (James) Hodges, Cindy (Kevin) Preston. She was the cherished grandmother of Shannon (Ray) Ochoa, Armando Saroli, the late Joseph (Amber) Saroli, the late Chad McDonald, Adam (Kim) Preston, Brett (Carissa) Preston, and Madison Preston. The most amazing Great Grandma to Raymond Jr, Alec, Olivia, Angelo, Aubrey, Elliot, Addie, Carter, Bella, and Jett. She was the Dear sister of the late Joseph Carlini, the late Frances DeAngelo and the late Bena Chyz. Last but not least, she was the best GrandMomma to her 3 fur babies Cannoli, Sophia, and Mia Bella, they were the light of her life.
Mary was an extraordinary cook and baker, known for her homemade Italian Pasta & Meatballs, Gnocchi, Breaded Steak, Cannolis, Pizzelle’s and the one and only famous Lemon(biscotti)cookie with a recipe only she could master. Playing Bingo and Canasta was always the highlight of a fantastic family night.
A Viewing will take place in the Legacy Chapel on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 3:30-7:30pm at Fairhaven Memorial Park & Mortuary at 1702 E. Fairhaven Ave. Santa Ana, CA 92705. The viewing is limited to 30 attendees inside the chapel at one time. Attendees will be permitted to rotate into the chapel for the viewing. Masks and social distancing are required.
A Funeral Service will commence on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 1pm at Waverly Chapel at Fairhaven Park & Mortuary. The Waverley Chapel is limited to 50 attendees for the service.
