Today marks a year that you left us to be with Lord😢.  We went to your grave today.  Your marker is beautiful.  We then went to Green China to eat your favorite food. We all miss you and love you so much !♥️♥️♥️

It’s so hard to believe that you’ve been gone almost a year in a couple of days .  It seems like just yesterday you left us 😔 I love you and still miss you so much! 

Mama I’m sure you know but we had Mando’s funeral on Tuesday. It was a beautiful service. Don’t know if you two were watching but I hope you were.  We all can’t believe he is gone just like we still can’t believe you are gone.  I miss you so much……😢 But I know you and Mando are in a better place with your new bodies and with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Love you♥️♥️♥️

Mama I’m sure you know Mando went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday 😢 I told him to tell you I said hi.  He looked so peaceful.  I will miss him just like I miss you but we do not grieve like the world does. We will see you two soon😊

It’s so hard to believe that 4th of July has come and gone. I missed you this year😞but I know I will see you again.  Who would of known that, that was your last 4th of July here on earth with us😢 I love and miss you so much .♥️♥️♥️

Happy Resurrection Mama! Today is Easter and I still miss you so much 😥 I came to bring you some beautiful flowers . Yesterday your baby sister, (Aunt Rosie) celebrated along with your brother in law (Uncle Nick) their 65th birthday! Can you believe it? Mama we went to the cemetery today. I know you are not there but like Veta said she doesn’t want your grave to look all “triste” (sad) .  I want your grave to look beautiful just like you:) We sat there and ate and remembered you and how you took care of my babies and the other grand kids. My babies said they loved going to your house :) We also listened to your song: “Amor Eterno” I miss you so much ♥️

Mama today is our first Valentine’s Day without you.😞 I miss taking your See’s  candy that Lorenzo used to buy for you .  I remember you would hide it in your “cajon” because those were the good ones😊.   I still miss you so much! You will always be my Valentine:) ♥️♥️♥️ See you soon🥰

Mama today we finally were able to celebrate Christmas together ! We still miss you so much! We had good food and fun! I know you’re having fun with our lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! I love you and can’t wait to see you again!

Mama, you always had joy no matter what. I went shopping today and I found a little “joy” decoration.  I put it up to remind me of you and your joy.   Mama you were the “joy” in our lives 😊. We will always carry your joy in our hearts ...♥️♥️♥️

Today was Lorenzo’s birthday . Remember we went out for his birthday last year to that meat place, Texas de Brazil?  That was the last time you were able to come out and I am happy you did😊 Today we just had In-and Out and I made a carrot cake for him.  Wish you were here with us to celebrate 😌 I miss you so much!♥️♥️♥️♥️

It was such a blessing to have you as a Sister and a Sister in Law. You taught us so much  through words ... but so much more through your Actions. Especially when it came to your Faith and Trust in God. You had so much wisdom and loved to share it. We admired that you never sugar coated the truth ....If your opinion  was asked ... oh did we get it!!!  You left us one word that spoke so many words ... and that is JOY. We will  continue to carry that in our hearts ... when life doesn’t go the way we planned or think it should go .... we will always keep the Joy in hearts going ... the JOY in our lives will always flow Like A RIVER!!!!!! Today was our first Thanksgiving without you.  We had lots of delicious food and a good time but we missed having you with us.😌. We watched your videos of you laughing and dancing...you were so funny.  We love you Mama and are so thankful for the time God gave us to be with you😃♥️

Today I put the poinsettia flowers you gave me when you moved out of your house.   They look so beautiful.  I remember you loved poinsettias at Christmas time:) Thank you ...now I have them to put them out at Christmas time and think of you😊. I miss you Mama ...I love you so much ❤️

Mama some of us girls went to get some treasures from your things so we can continue to have you close to our hearts😋. Terry had mentioned to me that you used to say “no one is going to want my things”☺️ We all want and took treasures of yours😊. You were right about what you said : when we die we cannot take anything with us.  Reminds me of the verse that says: What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul  Mark 8:36.  Mama it was fun and sad at the same time.  We all still can’t believe you’re gone...we miss you so much.  😢. We found your velo collection so we all decided to take a picture with them on♥️  I could just see you now laughing and goofing off with us and giving us that look 👀 of yours for laughing at the velos😁you had. Mama, I'm remembering and missing how we would sit out in the patio listening to music while you sat in your favorite  chair enjoying the sun admiring your Rose's and plants. I miss you so much and I remember  how much you loved your Rose's, I still cut them and put them in your room especially  when I'm really missing you, they remind me of you and your fragrance and your love mama. Your flowers look so beautiful and continue to grow everyday. I miss you everyday Mama. I love you Mama!    ❤️ 

Bubba-loo got married yesterday.  Remember we were supposed to go shopping for our dresses for the big wedding?  I don’t know if you were watching from heaven but it was a beautiful ceremony😇. Wish you were here, there is so much that I want to share with you on a daily basis😔.   I miss you and love you ❤️

Mom just wanted to let you know how much l miss you and love you. l was ready to give up, but God has brought me to far and if l want to see you again, l have to keep fighting for what l believe it’s just not gonna be the same without you. Just to know you were alive and being taken care of  I’m content l wish l should of spend one night with you before you passed, but knowing you knew how much l loved you it’s really been hitting me pretty hard that you’re gone l cry everyday . Gonna fight harder each day and be an example to my kids that God is real and He still has the power to do anything. l sing a lot to you everyday love you mom and gonna make you proud you will always be my example of being a strong Godly women l am  working on memorizing psalms 103 in Spanish l already learned psalms 121 in Spanish and English love you always in my heart purple is my favorite color glad you chose that color 😘😢💜💜🙏 . 

It seems like just yesterday you were 76😊You were always so happy on your birthdays we celebrated with you.  We all love you so much and miss you so much 😢. I wanted you to live until Jesus came but God had other plans for you😇...don’t be mad but we are being “chionas”😌♥️😢

Not a day goes by without thinking about you.  I hear a song or someone says something and it reminds me of you.  Today I was listening to “Hermoso Eres” by Marcos Witt which means “You’re Beautiful “.  Remember we used to listen to this song when we would visit?  We also listened to it the Sunday before you went to be with the Lord and I remember you asked , is that Marcos Witt?  Now you’re with the Lord telling him: “Hermosi Eres”.  😊 I don’t know what you and I were talking about in this photo but it was at “Welita’s” funeral reception...now your together  praising our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Can’t wait to see you agsin😇♥️

Missing my mom so much feels like a dream that you’re gone. I remember when l told you baba was gonna start school soon and you told me when he started you and Terry were gonna go look through the gate to see him well he finally started and so sad you’re not here to tell you your morenito finally started. He’s so happy he cries because he doesn’t want to leave when l pick him up from school because he loves being outside, but l know from heaven you’re watching him. l just wish you were still here I am so so sad without you. l love you so much, I am happy l got to tell you how much l loved you, and how much you meant  to me you will always be in my heart. You’re my angel now l want you to come back 😢😢😞💜😇 . 

I still can’t believe your gone😔I miss you so much ! You were so happy last Mother’s Day. You were such a trooper...we went to lunch, shopping and then a movie.  You were always able to hang with us....no complaining that you were tired. I love you, Mama😢

Thank you for always being a strong woman of God . You were an example of how to never give up on God and to trust in him at all times!!! No matter how difficult it was to believe we would get thru whatever it was we were going through. The Tuesday before you  passed I went to see you and I started to cry ... normally you would ask why are you crying but I know you knew that it wasn’t long ago I had to say goodbye to Pops and Abel. And now again I had to say goodbye to someone I loved and held close to my heart... you found your way to encourage me and to let me know that you were okay... you said “ either way this goes .... I win!!!” So now I rejoice with you in your Victory !! Rest in Paradise Aunt Mary!!! I got Joy Like a River in My Soul!!!!!!

I remember when grandma came to see my baby in the hospital when he was born and the nurse said is that your grandma?  i said yes,  she was like i could tell she looks like you haha 😄..  Grandma thank you for always being there for me NO MATTER what and always having encouraging words . You will always be my HERO!! I LOVE YOU to heaven and back and I will see you again!  💔💜💜💜

Grandma thanks for being the best grandma ever....I’m sooo lucky to have you for the last 39 yrs of my life to be at every bday dinner...every make up holiday dinner my mom would put on for me...and for just being my biggest fan I’m gonna miss your hugs and your kisses and your prayers..and I know u loved in the end my parents messed up and i’m a Torres before i’m a Martinez .....

This was last December.  Mama and us girls  usually do our little gift exchange every year for Christmas and eat:) We went out for breakfast.  Look at my mom...always looking good:)

Grandma always loved me cooking for her also cleaning,she never liked a dirty kitchen lol,yet her favorite was my Abondigas and Pozole.She taught me how to always have God in my heart and how to cook with love and flavor.she once said "One day mejia everyone will get to enjoy your food at your own restaurant". I will always love you my sweet angel ❤ 

I’m really sorry for your lost. She seemed to live a long beautiful life and was very blessed to have a wonderful family like yourselves. She will always be looking after her precious family. It was Gods Plan for her to pass, she’s in a way better place now and will always be watching over her family.  ❤️

Mama loved going to the spa. We would go on Morher’s Day and at Christmas time then to have lunch at Olive Garden. 

Mary was such a beautiful person inside and out. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Always such a sharp dresser at church playing her Tambourine. May you rest in paradise you will forever be in our hearts.  Lisa Amanda &Nelson❤️
