Mickey Abraham, age 66, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 10th, 2019 at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Carson, California. He was born on May 16th, 1952, in Chengannur, Kerala, to V.A. and Kunjamma Abraham. On October 20th, 1983, he married Mercy Abraham. Together, they had two children, Binoy and Sharmila. From a very young age, his enterprising spirit allowed him to quickly shoot up the ranks at GE in Mumbai where he was one of the youngest supervisors overseeing maintenance of their X-Ray units for their south Mumbai facility.
He was a strong patriarch of the Abraham family. As a father, husband and older brother, he was a constant source of support and counsel. Mickey was known for his curious mind, a source of great wisdom and meticulous attention to detail. He loved life’s simple pleasures from good food to great company. He will be remembered for his quick wit and spontaneous one liners that would leave everyone around in splits of laughter.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Mercy, two children, Binoy (Seena) and Sharmila, and his cherished granddaughter, Abigail.
“That man is a success who has lived well, laughed often and loved much.” - Robert Louis Stevenson
