daughter, sister, aunt, and friend passed away at the age of 55.
Nancy was born on August 29, 1964 in Santa Ana, California to Frank and
Sabina Ramirez. On July 19, 1986 she welcomed her only daughter,
Casandre, to the world. Nancy was a devoted mother raising Casandre on
her own.
Anyone who knew Nancy will never forget her caring heart. She always
took care of others in various ways from never coming home empty
handed (picking up dinner, treats, Costco/Sam’s club runs—anything a
person needed) to spoiling those she loved (often her granddaughters and
son-in-law before her daughter). Her siblings say Nancy was a workaholic
who loved the beach, tanning, and 80’s music. Everyone who lived with
her is going to miss her taking care of the yard work (yes, she was a
strong, independent woman in more ways than one). None of her nieces
or nephews will ever forget her famous M&M’s cookies, theme park trips,
or her beautiful, long hair. In the family, Nancy was known for her quick
comebacks and witty remarks. Some of her favorite things included
anything sweet (especially Knott’s boysenberry pie, Almond Joys and Hot
Tamales), the Hallmark channel and christmas movies.
Nancy is survived by her mother, Sabina; her siblings; her daughter and
son-in-law, Casandre and Carlos Mendoza; and granddaughters, Emma
and Stella. Nancy’s family will miss her daily presence in their lives, but
take solace knowing she is joining her dad, sister and brother in paradise.
