Norman William Amling

Norman William Amling shuffled off his mortal coil after a battle with cancer on December 24th, 2022. He was a long-time resident of Orange California and a faithful member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Orange. Never afraid of hard work; Norman had been a farmer, a truck driver and a business owner. He was probably known best for his understanding and appreciation of flowers and agriculture in general. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Amling; his grandson, Jeremy Apple; and his younger brother, Charles Amling. He is survived by his older brother, Albert John II, six children, three stepchildren, and an ungodly number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. We will always carry his memory in our hearts.

A visitation for Norman will be held Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Fairhaven Memorial Park Mortuary, 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92705. A funeral service will occur Monday, January 9, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at St. Johns Lutheran Church Orange, 185 S. Center Street, Orange, CA 92866. A reception will occur Monday, January 9, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92705. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Fairhaven Memorial Park, 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92705.
