Pamela was born August 4, 1943 in Santa Ana, CA. She lived in southern California for the duration of her childhood. She attended and graduated high school at Tustin High School in 1960. In October of that year she married Richard L Moore in Orange County, California then moved to Rome, Italy where she resided for about year and a half until she returned to California. She separated from Richard then went to work for various medical professionals and physicians for many years. On August 30, 1979 she married Larry Madera whom she met through her good friends Rachel and Richard Jernigan. Larry and Pam lived in Santa Ana, California. They enjoyed trips to the Colorado river and riding sand rails in the dunes of Glamis. On April 13, 1980 her only son John was born. Larry and Pam separated a few years later and after moving back to Orange, California in 1987, Pamela received a call from an old friend in Blayne Rockstead Henton, whom she knew from friends in San Pedro, California. Blayne was now living in Morro Bay and Pamela and John would make trips up the coast to visit him at his coastal residence. On December 3, 1988 Pamela and Blayne married in Palm Springs, California. After the wedding, Blayne moved in with Pamela and John in Orange, California. Shortly there after she began work as a claims examiner for Pacificare, a health insurance company where she met friends Rick and Judy Marseilles. Pamela loved making trips to Palm Springs with Blayne and spending time with family and friends. On May 19, 2001 her first granddaughter, Faith was born. She helped raise Faith while her son John finished school. On June 1, 2013 her son John married Jacqueline Raigosa in Hollister, California where she welcomed Jacqueline's family, the Raigosas into her family. Pamela later welcomed Alexandria in 2015 and Benjamin Madera in 2019 as her grandchildren expanded. Pamela loved her family unconditionally and enjoyed listening to radio personality Rush Limbaugh, admiring portraits by renowned painter Thomas Kinkade and holiday trips to have dinner at the Queen Mary. Pamela and Blayne were married for 31 years until his death in 2019. Pamela is survived by her son John, daughter in law Jacqueline, granddaughters Faith and Alexandria and grandson Benjamin.
A funeral service for Pamela will be held Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Fairhaven Memorial Park Mortuary, 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92705. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Fairhaven Memorial Park, 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, California 92705.
