Roberta Jean Burdick, 88, of California, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020. Roberta was preceded by her first husband, Daniel O’Connell; her two sons, Danny and Patrick O’Connell, and her daughter, Laura Conde; and her four grandchildren, Jeffrey, Michelle, Christopher, and Baby Jennifer. She is survived by her husband, Milton Burdick; her brother, Robert Urban; her two sisters, Mary Ann Gunn and Rosie Turner; her daughter, Joyce Gillette; her son, Michael O’Connell and his wife Nicole; her son-in-law Gonzalo Conde and his wife Jennifer; her three step-children Todd, Craig; his wife Tanya, and Paul Burdick; her five grandchildren, Joseph and Amanda Conde, Chelsea and Tyler O’Connell, and Briana Giardina; her three great-grandchildren Crystal Faller, Kayla Arroyo, and Magon Gillette; and her great-great-grandchild, Ayden. Roberta worked for Disneyland and the Angel Stadium, as well as Hunt Wesson, and the Pacific Telephone Employee Credit Union. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles, feeding her squirrels and birds, and watching the Anaheim Ducks. Most of all, Roberta loved everyone, and everyone loved her. A viewing will be held Friday, October 23, 2020 from 3-7pm at Fairhaven Memorial Park & Mortuary, 1702 Fairhaven Ave., Santa Ana, CA 92705. Services will be Saturday, October 24, 2020 from 10-11am at Fairhaven Memorial Park & Mortuary. Grave Site: Saturday October 24, 2020 at 11:30am at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, 7845 E Santiago Canyon Rd, Orange, CA 92869, with a reception held after at Fairhaven Memorial Park & Mortuary. The family has asked that that in lieu of flowers to please donate to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or your favorite charity in her honor.
