Dad, they say it gets easier. But, that’s a lie. This year the anniversary day of you leaving us seems to be so much harder. I have had a hard time all week. It’s taken me a couple of days to write this message. But you know there is not a day that goes by that I don’t think of you and Anthony. I miss you both so much, my heart still hurts as much or even more then the day you left for heaven 🥹 I dream of you often and I wake up reaching for my phone, I wish I could hear your voice one more time 💔 I love you and I miss you. Rest in peace until the day I see you again in paradise 🙏🏼

This year has gone by in a blur - I see you everywhere so I know you are with me but I long to hear your voice. Your peaceful death, from a light and deep sleep,

Your face calm satisfied, you went to heaven with God.

Mr.Alvarez, my childhood neighbor. My memory of Mr. Alvarez, was he always opened his doors to me and my sister and never turned us away lol. We had so much fun and always felt welcomed in their home.  Thank you for all the many more fun memories we had.  I was glad to see you one last time when you got your vaccine shot at my work this last summer.  May you R.I.P.  Give a big hug to my mom and dad. 🙏🏼💙🙏🏼😇🕊

I Don't even Know where to Start, I'm  blessed to know (Pops) &  Alvarez  Family for so  Many years , He was A good dad, with Stern Advise and that included me always concern about the best wellbeing  of His Family and Again Me 😍 last year when I sat and visit he was so happy to see me and again was concern of my wellbeing and Happiness and I  Assured him I was in good hands starting with the Lord and he agreed and he ask me to pray for him and I did and said that made him feel better , and it was good to see me..
I will miss him and his great personality and his Love for me has one of his own..😪
Rev 21:4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed.
My heart is heavy for another has left us and gone home to Our lord whom welcome him with open arms , with no more pain ..just Joy Unspeakable  Joy.. So I say bye pops.. but it's not permanent🤞🏼 I will see you again .

My fondest memory of Mr. Alvarez, was at his 70th Birthday party he was so happy celebrating with family and friends I did a little comedy routine, where I dressed up like the tacky tourist, and the end of it, I jumped on his lap. He was laughing so hard, we were all laughing. He was great to see him so happy . We all love Mr. Alvarez, great man, Father, grandfather and friend.  With Respect and honor, this is not goodbye, it’s just see you later my friend (Pops). May the Lord wrap his loving arms around you as he guides you home. RIPARADISE Mr. Alvarez.
