Sonia Shields Dovalina went to be in the presence of the Lord on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. With her bright smile, she would light up a room and sadly, her light has gone out at the age of 47 years old when she lost her battle to COVID-19.
As a single mother, Sonia loved and worked to give her daughters a better life. She is survived by her two beautiful young daughters, Noraida and Talia Ramirez as well as her sister Consuelo Dovalina and brother David Dovalina. She also leaves behind her niece and nephew Miranda and Matthew Lujan. The remainder of her family has already gone to be in the presence of the Lord.
A true friend until the end, she will forever be missed and leaves a void in all our hearts that will be so difficult to fill.
