With her loving family by her side, our beloved Daughter, Sister, Tia, Cousin and Friend, Suzy Juarez, of Santa Ana, California, passed away after her yearlong battle with Pancreatic Cancer on September 20, 2021 in Surprise, Arizona.
Suzy is survived by her loving family: Parents, Ernest Buenrostro Juarez and Elia Matilde Rios Juarez, Sisters, Sandra Lynn Rahnama and Carolyn Amaya, Brother, Ernie Juarez, Nieces, Janelle Marie Juarez, Lida Rae Rahnama, Crystle Jade Nolasco, Arianna Rose Nolasco, Nephew Victor Ray, Brothers-in-Law, Houman Rahnama and Manual Amaya and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
Suzy was born in Santa Ana, California on July 27, 1966. After she graduated her CNA program from Santa Ana Community College, she worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital as a CNA on the surgical floor and as a nurse’s station secretary. She enjoyed helping her patients and made many lifelong friendships with her co-workers.
Suzy’s interests included her family, gardening, reading and playing word games—anyone who played her at Scrabble knew she had no mercy when it came to laying down her letters. Suzy devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to her family and friends, and their babies. She helped raise many a baby. Suzy’s charm and smile just brightened the day – she was VIBRANT. She was the most caring, kind and thoughtful person. She would give to anyone, even when she didn’t have it to give — she had so much love in her heart. Everyone has the same story, “When I needed Suzy, she was there for me.” In her last days, her family was so honored to be there to love and support her. Our dearest Suzy, you will be deeply missed by all your family and friends.
Funeral Service will take place at Waverley Chapel with a hearse procession to the Graveside, concluding the chapel service.
