It is with great sadness that we report the sudden passing of Ursie Fisher on October 20, 2020 in Parker, Arizona at the age of 77 years old.
Ursie will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 48 years, Steve; children: Steve, Susan (John), Bert (Kristina) and Troy (Dana); grandchildren: Kevin, Brad, Blaize, Johnny, Emberly, Ruby and James; Sister Marlene (Jim) and sister in law Shirley and her beloved parrot, Dooley. She will be dearly missed by the many friends she made in her travels, RV, tennis, bridge, skiing, and more.
She was predeceased by her mother, Beatrice, and her Father, Marlin.
There is no doubt that Ursie was a special lady who made an indelible mark on everyone she met. Her love of life and laughter were contagious. She was definitely the life of any party. Her absence will leave a big hole in many hearts.
She began her life in the state of Washington and lived there until her teenage years. She later had her 2 sons, Bert and Troy, and moved to California. In 1972, she met Steve playing volleyball in a park league and the rest is history. The two fell in love and married and settled in La Palma to start the next chapter of their life together. They later moved to Yorba Linda in the home the two have shared since 1976.
A small graveside service for family and close friends will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Fairhaven Memorial Park, 1702 E. Fairhaven, Ave. Santa Ana. Social distancing will be observed and masks are required.
The lives of those she touched are better for knowing Ursie Fisher.
